In most cases, foreign nationals must obtain a study permit before studying in Canada. It’s crucial to ensure you have all necessary documents before starting the application process and advisable to apply before your intended travel to Canada.

Please note that a study permit is not a visa and does not grant entry into Canada. Depending on your situation, you may also need a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to enter Canada. If your study permit application is approved, we will issue it along with any required visitor visa or eTA.
